Description |
The White House is situated in a small village set in the side of the Burton Dassett Hills, a well known local land mark approximately 9 miles from Banbury. The house was originally built in 1938 as a farm cottage and is set in a rural and peaceful position enjoying magnificent views over the Warwickshire and Oxfordshire countryside.
The M40 motorway is conveniently situated giving easy access to all points of the compass. The Cotswolds and Shakespeare country are close by including the historic towns of Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon. Also within easy reach are the towns of Royal Leamington Spa and Banbury. Motoring enthusiasts head for the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon whilst serious walkers head for the Fosse Way.
Birmingham is approximately 30 miles away with its wide range of cultural and social activities including the International Convention Center with the world famous Symphony Hall and other theatres together with comprehensive shopping facilities. The NEC is located next to Birmingham International Airport with its ultra modern facilities providing high frequency direct scheduled services throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, together with the National Rail Network.

Rooms |
The White House offers a high standard of centrally heated, double glazed accommodation. All rooms are comfortable and homely with remote controlled colour TV, tea/coffee trays, hairdryer and ensuite facilities. All or our rooms enjoy the benefit of the superb country views.
Park View
This is a spacious double-bedded room with views over the front and side of the house overlooking the Burton Dassett Country Park and surrounding countryside. This room may also be used as a family room with space for 2 camp beds suitable for children up to approximately 10 years.
Dassett View
This is a twin bedded room with magnificent southerly views overlooking Edge Hill. On a clear day, the Malvern Hills which are 42 miles away, are visible, giving a spectacular outlook over the countryside.
Paddock View
A spacious self-contained flat available on a self-catering basis only. Includes its own entrance, hall, ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. Leading upstairs to a newly refurbished area with double bed, colour TV and its own kitchen area. Tea, coffee and breakfast is provided for short term B&B lets.
We also offer a self contained flat that accomadates a family.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served daily between 7.00am and 8.30am in the dining room situated off the entrance hall. Guests can start off their day with a choice of a Continental or a home cooked Full English breakfast along with a choice of teas and coffees. Special arrangements can be made for people with particular dietary requirements if necessary.

Directions |
How To Find Us
From Junction 12 of the M40 motorway:-
Turn left off the motorway onto the
B4451. Go ½ mile to T junction.
Turn left onto the B4100. Continue for
approximately 3 miles.
Turn left towards Northend/Burton Dassett
Hills. Cross over the M40, keep straight on past Northend turn and over a cattle grid into the Burton Dassett Country Park.
Go through park, round sharp right hand bend at the top of hill (ticket hut on left). Keep straight on ignoring road off to the right. Over a 2nd cattle grid and The White House is immediately on the right hand side.
