Description

Dating back to the 17th Century, when it was used as farm buildings for the adjacent Croft, this charming, recently converted self-contained barn combines many original features such as oak beams and slate floors, with the up-to-date facilities that the modern traveller has come to expect.

 
Rooms

With just 2 en-suite rooms (1 Double and 1 Twin), we can ensure all our guests receive a warm welcome and will look after you to the highest possible standards.

For your convenience and comfort, there is a T.V., coffee and tea making facilities, a hairdryer and radio alarm clock in each room. Guests are welcome to use a separate kitchen and lounge area.

Local attractions

Set in the heart of the quiet rural village of Penmark. From here you have access to Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons, the Heritage Coast, Cardiff Wales airport and other areas of South Wales, as well as a range of good pubs and restaurants, including one of the oldest pubs in Wales.

In the village itself you will find an original Norman church and many period houses. Further information about the village can be gathered from the “Penmark Past” book.

 
Directions

Leave the M4 at Junction 33 on to the A4232 towards Cardiff. Leave at the exit signposted A4050 and Cardiff Wales Airport. At the roundabout take the right turning (4th Exit) onto the A48 signposted Cowbridge and St Nicholas. Follow the road for approx. 3 miles and turn left onto the A4226 to the Airport. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles and at the roundabout turn right onto the B4265 to Llantwit Major and the Airport.
At the first roundabout bear right onto the B4265. At the next roundabout turn right to Penmark. Follow the road into the village.
You will find us next door to the Six Bells Pub on the left-hand side of the road.
